Graduation Clearance Process
To ensure your diploma and transcripts will be released by the designated date, all graduation candidates must:
- Pay any outstanding Student Financial Services balances
- Return all equipment and books to Instructional Technology and the Library
- Complete the Computer Competency Requirement (undergraduates and New College only)
Student Loan Exit Interview
If you obtained a Federal Stafford Loan (subsidized or unsubsidized) or a Perkins Loan while attending St. Edward's University, you must complete a debt management session. This can be done online for Stafford Loans and for Perkins Loans. If you borrowed both types of loans, you must complete both sessions. Computer Competency Requirement
All undergraduate and New College students who entered St.
Edward's University under the Fall 1999 catalog or later are
required to satisfy the Computer
Competency Requirement. The modules, which are completed
online, include:
- Introduction to Computers
- WWW and Internet Communications
- Basic Library Research
- Introduction to Word Processing
- Introduction to Spreadsheets
- Multimedia Presentations
