Basil Moreau Hall opened in February 2003. Freshmen students and a limited number of upperclassmen will be eligible to experience all that this residence hall has to offer.
Created to support the university's
thriving campus community and growing student body, the
new hall features innovative designs for those who want
to experience the best in residence hall living. You will
benefit from living in a friendly, safe living space that
continues the St. Edward's tradition of supporting a diverse
residential population. The environment of the hall will
allow you to enjoy being part of a community that values
social and intellectual interaction as well as privacy.
A beautiful place to live and learn
Echoing the architecture of existing campus buildings, the
new hall is adjacent to the Ragsdale Center, making dining
facilities, classes, athletics and the library convenient
to you. You will be a part of a community of more than 180
students that will call this two-wing structure home. The
hall boasts a one three-story wing and one four-story wing
with a variety of floor plans to meet your needs. They include:
- Six single rooms with single bath
- 48 double rooms with single bath
- 10 suite-style rooms (four students
sharing a bathroom)
Each of the rooms are approximately 300
square feet and have nine-foot ceilings.
