Abstract: Social Work Application Tool (SWAT) is designed to provide automated access to internship opportunities within the School of Behavioral Science at St. Edward’s University. It will allow the Social Work Coordinator to work with Field Instructors in organizing and assigning opportunities for prospective graduating students. SWAT is a flexible system that allows users to search for field opportunities and instructor information, and permits easy administration of available opportunities for internships. By allowing users to search and update the database, it will effectively organize opportunities and field site and instructor information in one centralized location on the web.
