Title: Database Development for PharmaServ

Abstract: In this talk we will describe the work done for a pharmaceutical company in the creation of a database and migration of its business related data into the database. The company, Pharmaserv, previously used a word processing document to store critical data about proposals and purchase orders. This grew too large to be searchable or maintainable. Our work involved the design and implementation of a database to replace their cumbersome system. This work also handled the existing data so that the company’s migration to the new system could be made easier.
