Title: Software Project: Electronic Resume System for Accounting Majors

Abstract: This project created a prototype student resume bank for my client Dr. Michael Harris, an associate professor of accounting at Saint Edward’s University. Dr. Harris will use this prototype to demonstrate that a student resume bank is a viable project for his department. This pilot program was created using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2002 on the Windows Operating System. The system is tailored to accounting student only, therefore, the search criteria are more specific. The project involved three basic phases: 1) Build an entity relationship diagram, 2) Create the student entry page (data fields and resume upload capability), and 3) Create a database to store the data from the entry form.
