Title: Generalized Fibonacci Sequences Mod 10n
Abstract: The generalized Fibonacci
sequence beginning at any two numbers, (x,y) is observed to have
special patterns when applied with the modulus function.
Expanding from an article by D.D. Wall, this seminar explores
the different complicated patterns formed by the Fibonacci sequence
mod 10n. Included are speculations on explicitly defining
these patterns in mathematical terms, attempts to prove and predict
future patterns, and possible applications of my research.
