| All mathematics majors learn C++, and all
students have access to computing equipment through the
University computing Center. The Center includes a Hewlett-Packard
9000/835 minicomputer system which operates under the UNIX
system, as well as a variety of microcomputers which may
be used in applied courses. There are also several classrooms
with networked computers which can be used for mathematics
classes. Students in undergraduate research have access
to the Maple computer algebra system. All students have
internet access. For more information, contact Instructional
