| Physics & Pre-Engineering |
| Within the mathematics department are physics
and the pre-engineering program. Pre-engineering students
study two years at St. Edward's and then transfer to complete
engineering majors. As St. Edward's does not currently offer
a physics major, physics instruction focuses on meeting
the physics related needs of those majoring in other sciences
or in pre-engineering or in general education. With this
emphasis on lower division instruction in physics, even
introductory courses and labs are taught by experienced
senior faculty. |
