MONTHLY ARRANGEMENT
PAYMENT PLAN
Students may take advantage of this payment plan
to pay out their expenses over the course of a semester.
The university does not charge interest for the deferred
portion of the payment plan, although it does charge
a nominal participation fee each semester. Students
can elect to enroll in this plan during registration.
To have the monthly payments automatically billed
to a credit card, families or students should complete
the Autobill Authorization Form and submit it to our
office.
You can sign up for this option using EdWeb
EMPLOYER DEFERRED
PAYMENT PLAN
Students who receive employer reimbursement for classes
at the end of a semester may elect to enroll in the
Employer Deferred Payment Plan (EDPay). In this program,
students pay a percentage of their tuition cost plus
a small fee per class at the beginning of the semester.
The remaining amount is due two weeks after the end
of the semester.
Students must complete an enrollment packet to participate
in this program. Additionally students must submit
notification of intent to the Office of Student Financial
Services before the start of a semester in which they
plan to take advantage of this program.
The EDPay enrollment packet is available for download
from our forms library in Adobe PDF format. The packet
includes an EDPay information sheet, a sample employer
letter, and a payment agreement contract.
THIRD-PARTY
BILLING
At a student's request, St. Edward's will bill employers
or other entities (such as ROTC or Texas Tomorrow Fund) which
pay for all or part of a student's tuition cost (this
does not include family members who pay tuition costs
on behalf of a student). Third party billing is typically used by students who have an employer that pays St. Edward's directly for tuition. (Students with an employer that reimburses tuition charges should use the EDPay program.)
Students who take advantage of this plan must submit
documentation of their third party's intent to pay
before the start of each semester.
ALTERNATIVE LOANS
FOR STUDENTS
St. Edward's maintains information on a number of
alternative loan programs. Generally, these loans
are deferrable while the student is enrolled in school
at least part-time. Additionally, these loans do not
require a student to complete a need analysis document
(the Free Application for Federal Student Aid), although
they do require the completion of a loan application/promissory
note.
To apply for one of the following loans please go online
or call the toll free number associated with the loan. Please
DO NOT return any paper work
associated with these loans to the Student Financial Services
Office. If you need to turn in documents such as a signed
application submit them DIRECTLY
to the lender. We can not be held
responsible for alternative loan documents turned in to
our office! For more information regarding these
various alternative loan programs please click
