Tracking Earnings
Work periods run from the 1st to the 15th (paid at the end of the month)
and the 16th to the last day of the month
(paid the following mid-month). Refer to the Student Pay
Dates Calendar under “Help & Document” in
your web timesheet. Look over the starting and ending dates,
the dates timesheets are due, and the pay dates for each
period. Note that some dates may be adjusted due to holidays
or other circumstances.
We want you to be aware of this calendar and use it. Keep
a copy for your records. As you finish each pay period,
write on the calendar (next to that pay period) how many
hours were reported on that tismesheet. When you get the
paycheck, write on the calendar (again next to the pay
period) the amount of the gross pay. If you do this, you
will always have an accurate record that you are being
paid properly and a record of your total earnings.
This is particularly important for College Work-Study students
since you have a College Work-Study award amount. The College
Work-Study program will not pay you for the hours worked
above your award amount, so use this calendar to track
your earnings. You are responsible for advising your supervisor
when you are about to complete your annual College Work-Study
award.
