Exploring What it Means to Be a Leader
Hilltop Leaders is a program facilitated by the Student Leadership Team (SLT) that takes place in the fall semester. It is available to freshmen and sophomores who are interested in learning about who they are as leaders and exploring the many ways that leadership manifests itself in different settings. Students participate in interactive weekly sessions, attend a weekend retreat, create and implement a group service project, and take part in a six-day trip to Washington, D.C. The experience applies theory to practice, and students who complete the program successfully will be recognized at an end-of-semester celebration.
How do I become a Hilltop Leader?
Applications for the Fall 2007 Hilltop Leaders program will be available in August. To maximize individual growth and group development, an Emerging Leaders group size will not exceed 15 participants.
