Many
Leadership Development are available
through the student life office. Students gain
hands-on experience in leadership by being involved
in St. Edward's University Student Organizations.
Staff members and experienced student leaders
are available to mentor students in their leadership
involvement. Formal training (listed below)
is also offered to students through workshops,
conferences, and retreats.For more information

Resources, Policies, and Procedures Training |

This informative training reviews resources
available within the university, proper procedures
for university events, and applicable policies
for student organizations. This training is
offered by the Student Organizations Peer Advisors
several times in September and year-round by
appointment.

Chartered Organizations Retreat |
| Members
from the Student Government Association, University
Programming Board, Student Leadership Team, Student
Publications, Residence Housing Association, and
the Student Organization Peer Advisors participate
in an overnight retreat. They learn basic leadership
skills, network, team build, and plan for the
year. This retreat is held off campus and is hosted
by the Student Leadership Team. |

Leadership Conference |
| The Together
Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M.) Leadership Conference
is open to all SEU students. The focus is on rejuvenating
continuing leaders and preparing new leaders for
their roles. |

| Emerging
Leaders Program |
| This Fall
semester program seeks to develop incoming students
and those new to leadership. Participants in the
Emerging Leaders Program commit to participating
in an overnight off-campus retreat, several on-campus
workshops and a group community service project.
The group community service project will be planned
and implemented late in the semester. Applications
are available in September in the Student Life
Office(Ragsdale 304). Approximately 25 students
will be admitted to the program. |
