Multicultural Committees

Student Life provides support and leadership to a number of committees - composed of students, faculty and staff - that develop and promote programs and events celebrating diverse cultures.

Black Heritage Events Committee
This committee works to educate students about black heritage, providing support to students of African heritage and those who are interested in learning more about the history of African Americans.

Hispanic Heritage Events Committee
The Hispanic Heritage Events Committee promotes Hispanic culture with numerous events and programs that occur throughout the year. These programs are aimed not only at celebrating the richness of Hispanic heritage, but also at educating our students about Hispanic history and traditions.

International Education Week Committee
The purpose of this week is to promote intercultural exchange and understanding. This year's observance will include International Tea Time, a foreign film, a multicultural fair and discussions regarding the global environment.
