Topper Transitions
Topper Transitions is a peer mentoring program offered by Student Life that encourages first-year students of color to connect with their peers. The challenges of transitioning from high school to college are much easier when they are shared with friends and upperclassmen that are willing to share their experiences. Getting and staying connected with peers who have similar interests is one way to enhance your college experience.
First-year students can join the Topper Transitions Mentoring Program by requesting a mentor from Student Life. You'll be connected with a sophomore, junior or senior who will serve as your Topper Transitions Mentor for the semester. Expand your levels of academic and social support by working with mentors, student leaders, the Assistant Director of Diversity and Multiculturalism, and an Academic Counselor.
