Jason Horinger

Jason Horinger is dedicated to the mission of Holy Cross - and he plans to continue his commitment by becoming a teacher in a Holy Cross high school.

As Jason earned a BA in Religious Studies, he was involved in several Campus Ministry activities. He participated in the Peru Immersion Experience twice - both as a student pilgrim and as a peer leader - and he will participate in the India Immersion Experience in May 2007. He was active in Egg Ministry and volunteered at San Juan Diego High School teaching religion courses.

Jason also served as both vice president and president of the St. Edward's University Lacrosse Club, was a resident assistant for two years, and volunteered as a group leader for the Freshman Service Project.

In 2006, he spoke about his experiences with Holy Cross education at the inaugural Holy Cross Institute Convocation at St. Edward's, which brought together Holy Cross educators from around the country.

One of his professors said, "What is especially outstanding about Jas on is that he brings a great deal of goodness to every social encounter.

He is a bright and joyful person with a beautiful spirit."
