Major University Events
The University Programming Board, or UPB, offers many programs for students to enjoy, including:
- The latest feature films
- Live music
- A variety of off-campus excursions
- Lectures and panel discussions
- Multicultural events
- An array of special performers and entertainment
Four major events are sponsored by the UPB:
- Hillfest
Hillfest, an outdoor event open to all members of the university community, celebrates the beginning of the new school year with live music, food, activities and fireworks that light the Austin skyline.
- Homecoming
Event-filled February weekend with lots of activities for students including live music and dance, a tailgate picnic, and Casino Night.
- Luau
Come enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the islands with Polynesian food and dancers as we say "Aloha" to the beginning of every school year.
- End of the Year Party
Enjoy live music and fun activities at this outdoor event, which celebrates the end of the academic school year. The End of the Year Party is open to all members of the St. Edward's University community.
These and other UPB
events are a great way to spend time with your friends, meet people from other cultures and celebrate special moments in your student "career" or to get connected to a bunch of new folks who you may not already know.
