To sign up for an appointment, go to http://www.frc.stedwards.edu/writing/
and follow the directions. This is the only way to sign up
for appointments; however, walk-in times are available as
indicated on the online schedule.
Please note that the online scheduler sets up appointments at the main campus (3001 S. COngress Ave.) only. Appointments at the north campus Professional Education Center can be scheduled by contacting the tutor directly. Please email Patrick Ricci at patrickr@admin.stedwards.edu.
To sign up, you will be asked for
your login and SEU ID number. To request an appointment, “View Schedule” will
show a calendar with half-hour blocks.

Select a time that indicates “Schedule”;
that means the slot is available. You will be given a
choice of tutors open at that time. Once you make that
choice, an email confirmation will immediately be sent
to you.
Blocks not indicating “Schedule” mean
either there are no staff members working at that time
or their times are booked.
“Walk-in” times are
open and do not need an appointment.
Book your appointments early – they fill up fast!
Check the website frequently as appointments are constantly
booked, cancelled, or opened up!
Important things to remember!
- Online is the only way to schedule an appointment
- Anyone at SEU may schedule up to two half-hour appointments
per week. Capstone students may schedule up to two one-hour
appointments per week. Your Writing Center experience
is better if you do not set up these times consecutively
with the same person.
- Remember to cancel your appointment
(online) if you can’t make it. If you don’t, you will be
considered a “No-Show.” Two no-shows will
ban you from the Writing Center for the rest of the semester.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment
will be given to the next person.
- These policies are designed to make the Center flow
smoothly. Please show respect for other students and
the staff by not interrupting sessions.
