JUST RELEASED, Keynote, Br. Paul Bednarczyk, C.S.C., Superior General, Congregation of Holy Cross

The Essentials

The Institute’s upcoming Convocation 2023 is scheduled for March 1-3 at St. Edward’s University in Austin. Save the date and begin making your plans to attend. Most important is your registration to the meeting itself, which can be done here in a matter of minutes.

In response to last year’s post-meeting survey, the Convocation will look slightly different in 2023. All three days will offer inspiring and highly informative material on the mission of Holy Cross in our schools, colleges and universities, and in general there will be more time to process the content that is presented and engage in discussions. The first day of Convocation will focus more on our colleges and universities, while the third day will put the focus on our secondary schools and the work that they do. The day in between, the center of the Convocation as it were, will feature activities and plenaries that speak to everyone involved in the CSC mission and Catholic education. Please consider attending all three days. Convocation 2023 will be a great time to meet up with old friends, make new contacts and join initiatives, and renew in mind and heart your connection to Holy Cross. We can’t wait to see you in Austin!

Your Accommodations

New this year is the Austin Southpark Hotel, where all participants can book rooms at rates specially reduced for the Convocation. The Southpark will be a hub at breakfast time and in the evening hours after the Convocation has concluded for the day. It’s never too early to book your rooms at the Austin Southpark Hotel. The Austin Southpark Hotel is five minutes from St. Edward’s University, and shuttle bus transportation will be provided by one of the premier lines in the Austin area, Clark Charters and Travel. We look forward to all our CSC guests staying under one roof and enjoying a short ride to Convocation.

“Convocation [2022] was an eye-opening experience for me - [ I saw]  for the first time just how vast and impactful the work of the Holy Cross family is around the world.”
