Housing Sign-Up Begins Feb. 15
Living on Campus Offers Students More Options and Benefits
Make sure your student gets a jump on housing for the 2017–2018 academic year. On-campus housing sign-up begins Feb. 15 on myHilltop. Here’s why and how your student should get started, and the housing options available for upperclassmen.
Living on campus is one of the best ways for students to stay connected to each other, their academic pursuits and everything that’s happening on the hilltop. Plus, it’s super convenient. Classrooms, support services, dining halls and coffee shops, the library, computer labs and fitness center are a quick stroll away. And the hilltop is an easy walk or bus ride to major retail stores and restaurants.
In campus housing, resident directors and resident assistants are on hand to provide guidance and support. And you can count on St. Edward’s to make campus safety a priority.
Living on the hilltop is a great value, too. Expenses are set, so your student will know exactly how much will be spent on housing and dining. Costs are comparable to living off campus. And it eliminates the time and expense of commuting.
This two-step sign-up process is required to secure campus housing.
STEP 1: Get your housing sign-up time. Log in to myHilltop and select this option (available from 9 a.m. on Feb. 15 through 5 p.m. on Feb. 21). Students will be issued a sign-up date and time before 5 p.m. on Friday Feb. 24.
STEP 2: Select your housing. Log in to myHilltop and make your selection during your sign-up time between Feb. 27 through March 7.
Open sign-up begins March 8. Questions? Contact Residence Life at 512-448-8419 or residencelife [at] stedwards.edu.
