As a virtual reality device, the Oculus Rift is a perfect fit for gaming.

Cody Antunez ’15, a Psychology major at St. Edward’s University, wanted to find another use for it. He taught himself Unity 3D and Unreal Engine 4 and constructed a series of tasks to see how test subjects could learn in a virtual environment. Eventually, he hopes his research will lay the groundwork for using the device as a safe training tool for dangerous work environments.
