Aquatics

The Aquatics program offers a variety of activities for swimmers of all skills, ages and levels. Whether you want to learn to swim, teach your children basic aquatic survival or are training for competition, the Campus Recreation Aquatics program can help.

Lap Swimming

The most common use of the Recreation and Convocation Center (RCC) pool is informal lap swimming. The RCC pool is available for lap swimming during the following times:

  • Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–9 a.m.; 11 a.m.–1 p.m.; 5 p.m.–8 p.m.

Swim Lessons

St. Edward's University Campus Recreation partners with AquaKnow Aquatics to provide Learn to Swim lessons for adults, children and toddlers of the university community. Students, faculty, staff, and their families are encouraged to use this program to learn to swim, improve stroke technique, and/or join an adult class for training methodology. Learn more

Pool Parties and Rentals

The RCC pool is available for rental by St. Edward's University faculty, staff, students, schools, departments and student organizations. Rental rates include:

  • University Schools and Departments – $15 per hour
  • University Student Organizations – $15 per hour
