At St. Edward’s University we understand the professional opportunities and personal sense of achievement that come with earning a college degree from a prestigious university. That’s why we created New College more than 40 years ago to serve adult students.
In New College, you’ll have opportunities to earn college credits for work history and life experience, along with access to multiple majors and two campus locations. New College offers flexible scheduling options, including 14-week, accelerated 7-week, online and blended courses. This provides you flexibility while maintaining a high level of academic integrity.
Our challenging academic programs and diverse learning community equip you with well-rounded knowledge, lifelong career skills and an expanded worldview — all highly valued in today’s global workplace. Plus, you get the support of one of the top universities in Texas with a history of innovation and success in guiding adult students to earn their degrees.
Transfer students, military veterans, and students with past school, job and life experience may qualify for earned academic credit. This is possible through CLEP testing, existing certifications, and the New College Portfolio program, which enable students to earn specific course credit based on learning acquired through experience. Your New College admission counselors can tell you more.
St. Edward's provides the kind of admission and academic support you would expect from a respected liberal arts, Catholic college. A St. Edward’s degree comes with a cadre of mentors, counselors and career support.
