Assistant Professor of Forensic Science, Director of the Forensic Science Program.

Dr. Parish-Fisher is the Director of the Forensic Science Program and the primary sponsor for F.A.C.T. (Forensic Association Committed to Truth) the recognized student organization on campus. She is also the primary sponsor of Alpha Chi National Honor Society which recognizes students who are in the top 10% of the university. Dr. Parish Fisher's research interest involves DNA analysis and its relation to crime scene work, specifically, profiles generated post-chemical enhancement.  She is still very active in the forensic science community and currently serves as the permanent Chair of the Host Committee and Chair of the Membership Committee for the Texas Division of the International Assoc. for Identification.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and doing community service.

Ph.D. in Forensic Genetics from the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, England.

M.Sc. in DNA Profiling from the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, England.

B.S. in Forensic Science from Baylor University, Waco, Texas.
