Lisa Lasater, PhD, LSSP is a clinical psychologist and a licensed specialist in school psychology. She is currently teaching Overview of Techniques in Child and Adolescent Counseling.

Dr. Lasater has over twenty years of experience in school-based assessment and special education, working primarily with children and adolescents with emotional difficulties. Her theoretical orientation encompasses interpersonal theory and the significance of connection. Dr. Lasater has provided supervision and training to graduate level psychology students through school-based practicum and as Adjunct Faculty at several Austin area universities. She is the co-founder of an Austin-based charter school focusing on the integration of social and emotional development within the academic setting.
