Dr. Behrend, CPA, joined the SEU faculty in 2017 and enjoys teaching Financial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, and Fraud & Forensics accounting. He enjoys teaching Financial Accounting to all majors and upper level courses to accounting majors. Dr. Behrend brings his prior experience as a Big 4 auditor and Controller to the classroom and to his various student mentoring interactions. He uses this experience to explain the importance of accounting, accounting systems, and internal controls to his students.
