Within the African-American community, there are many different shades of color that represent the deep-seated cultural history of Black people.
This year for Black History Month, students will have the opportunity to discuss and reflect on the issue of light versus dark skin in the community as well as celebrate their own shade of color.
Join the Multicultural Leadership Board on Feb. 15, 2012, to discuss what this issue means and how it can be positively changed in ethnic communities.
