Dr. Edward Williams, leading expert on Mexico and the U.S.-Mexico border, will speak about socio-economic dimensions of the migration crisis between the United States, Mexico, and Central America.  Professor Williams will share his insights based on decades of experience conducting research on the U.S.-Mexico border areas. Dr. Williams will offer his perspective on developing frameworks and questions for analyzing migration issues comparatively to include the U.S.-Mexico border and other regions of the world facing serious migration and displacement challenges.
