The Center for Ethics & Leadership is hosting a lecture titled, "We Need To Do Something About Mental Illness, but It Won't Stop Mass Shootings."  The speaker is Dr. Carmela Epright, who is a Clinical Professor of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and a Professor of Philosophy at Furman University.  She will discuss the state of mental health services, as well as the data that demonstrates mentally ill people are more likely to be victims rather than perpetrators of crime.
