This semester, St. Edward’s has 336 international students, so faculty are assigning, grading, and offering feedback to many English language learners. We will discuss John Webster’s advice about offering feedback to international students: learn to read through error; try not to correct errors on early drafts; help students find supports to work on writing issues over time; and develop a minimal marking system to guide students in preparing a “presentation draft.” Join us to learn how these strategies might work in your classroom.  RSVP below.
