Sustainability is increasingly seen as a key component of education in the 21st century by both students and university administrators. This presentation will discuss the significance of sustainability education and explore methods of integrating sustainability throughout the curriculum at St. Edward's. By viewing sustainability as a three legged stool, including environmental, economic and social sustainability, faculty members from different schools will discuss methods they use to incorporate sustainability into their courses. Following the presentations, there will be an open discussion in which all participants will brainstorm potential applications in their courses and disciplines. Lunch served at 11:45, please RSVP below.
