In this session, we will watch portions of the film "Writing Across Borders" -- a 3-year documentary project funded by Oregon State University. The film’s goal is to address some of the most significant challenges international students face when writing for American colleges and universities. It aims to help faculty members, writing assistants, and other professionals work more productively with international students in writing environments. After viewing short segments of the film, we will engage in facilitated discussions about the film's implications for how we teach courses - across the curriculum - that ask culturally diverse student populations to write. Please RSVP.
