You are cordially invited to attend the “Central Texas Campus Sustainability Practitioners Meeting,” co-hosted by the St. Edwards University, the National Wildlife Federation’s Campus Ecology Program (NWF), and the Texas Regional Alliance for Campus Sustainability (TRACS).
Purpose of the meeting:

  • To provide a regular forum for staff, faculty, administrators, students and others interested in putting campuses in the Central Texas region on a more sustainable footing to share ways to better practice campus sustainability;
  • To share information and resources and to provide and receive support for challenges pertaining to campus sustainability, including those related to physical infrastructure and operations, curriculum, resource allocation, administration, finance and accounting; socio-cultural and behavioral; regulatory matters, community engagement, student engagement, and more.

Campuses Invited: St. Edward’s University, University of Texas Austin, Austin Community College, Huston-Tillotson University, Concordia University, Southwestern University, Texas A&M College Station, Texas State University, Texas State Technical College, Baylor University, Other campuses in San Antonio and other areas within a 2 hour driving distance to Austin
We invite the following to participate in the meeting: sustainability staff including facilities and dining staff; faculty, administrators and students involved in sustainability efforts; and local organizations involved with campus sustainability.
