What better way to celebrate Earth Day than at Wild Basin Preserve and Creative Research Center? Come learn about citizen science, nature-related smartphone apps, and endangered species. We'll start with an introduction to citizen science and a look at innovative ways to use your smartphone to learn about local plans and animals, conservation effots, and scientific databases. Then we'll head outdoors and wrap up with a hike on Wild Basin's trails to listen for the song of the golden-cheeked warbler, an endangered songbird that nests only in Central Texas.
The workshop is free and open to the public, but space is limited, so RSVP below!
