Many of us see the internet as a gift replete with intellectual vitamins. But, today’s children are spending an average of seven hours a day on entertainment media, televisions, computers and electronic devices. Dr. Spitzer’s presentation will clarify that digitalizing classrooms has a negative effect on learning, especially in children.
Manfred Spitzer is graduate of the University of Freiburg. He has worked at Heidelberg, Harvard, and University of Oregon. He is widely published in neuroscience, learning, and psychiatry and is the recipient of many awards.
