Join us for lunch as Paul Sherman, a senior attorney at the Institute for Justice, will explain how the claim of judicial activism is a myth and the real issue at hand: judicial abdication. Drawing on examples from the Institute’s two decades of litigation, he will show the human consequences of judicial abdication.  He will also explain why solving this problem requires moving beyond the empty rhetoric of “judicial activism” and embracing “judicial engagement,” a commitment to real judging in all constitutional cases. Please RSVP to Professor Cherry.
