Stephen Vetter’s work has been focused on helping poor communities and their leaders overcome poverty. He served as president of Eureka Communities, a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the leadership skills of NGOs combating poverty. Mr. Vetter also worked for the Inter-American Foundation for 21 years in different positions including president and program vice president. He has advised a number of major foundations, including the Ford, Mott, and Annie E. Casey Foundations, the White House, the U.S. Congress, and the Inter-American Development Bank on developing a framework for supporting civil society in the hemisphere.
