This Saturday Wild Basin will be teaming up with the United Way for a collaborative workday to remove invasive Japanese ligustrum at Blunn Creek. The City of Austin’s Blunn Creek Nature Preserve is located just southeast of St. Edward’s University, and contains some of the largest Live Oaks anywhere within the City’s park system.
Wear pants, closed-toe shoes and sun protection; bring gloves, waterbottles and a day pack if you have them.

The entrance to Blunn Creek Nature Preserve is located at 1200 St. Edward’s Dr., just west of I-35.
