Wild Basin will be hosting two guided hikes on April 25th about the native plant use in Central Texas, led by archeologist Leslie Bush, Ph.D. The hike will focus on the Central Texas plants we enjoy today that have been used for food, medicine, and crafts for millennia by the Native people of Texas.
The first hike will run from 1 PM - 2:30 PM, while the second one will run from 2:30 PM - 4 PM. There will be a shuttle from campus to Wild Basin for St. Edward’s students, faculty and staff. The shuttle pick up and drop off will be in the visitor parking lot next to the parking garage at 12:30pm and 2:00pm. Vans will return to SEU at 1:45pm and 4:45pm.
