The Black Forest Project, a collaborative group comprising of Lisa Siders, Denise Burge, Tracy Featherstone, and Jenny Ustick, combines photography, drawing, sculpture, and video projects made in the forests of Germany and refined in the United States. Each artist drew from their heritage and landscape - from Germany to the Appalachian Mountains. Together they developed projects based on personal fantasy about the forest and enlisted one another's assistance in carrying them out.
