Please join us for another screening in the Spring 2015 Social Justice Film Series, which is designed for students in American Experience and American Dilemmas but is open to all. Dr. Todd Onderdonk will screen an episode from the television series Decoding Our Past Through DNA.  In this episode, Deval Patrick, the first African American Governor of Massachusetts, and Jessica Alba, a Mexican Ameriacn actress, are guided by host Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. as "cutting edge DNA analysis reveals that their family trees in fact contain a far more diverse range of cultures and races" (PBS).
