Wild Basin trail guide and retired geologist Wayne Orlowski, will lead a trip to the Llano Uplift, a circular geologic dome of Precambrian rock in Central Texas. We will traverse over eroded and buried mountains, roots of the collision that formed the Paleozoic aged supercontinent of Pangaea some 200 to 300 million years ago.
The trip is open to all St. Edward's staff and students. We will leave from and return to the St. Edward's main campus. Lunch and insect cookies will be provided!
