Dr. Martin

"The extraordinary participation rate of the Faculty and Staff Campaign is a point of tremendous pride for me, and I hope that it is for you, too. Partners, alumni and donors are often surprised to learn from me that more than 75 percent of our faculty and staff donate to the university. This rate is far higher than those of our peer institutions. It also illustrates our community's deep commitment to students and the Holy Cross mission. Thank you for helping to strengthen our special campus community."
— President George E. Martin, PhD

Your Impact

  • Last year, more than 70 percent of faculty and staff at St. Edward’s University gave generously through the Faculty and Staff Campaign. This rate is double digits ahead of other schools in our peer group: 50 percentage points ahead of Trinity and more than 25 points ahead of St. Mary’s!
  • Your contributions open doors of opportunity for student exploration and success, both on campus and in the wider community
  • Your gifts will also count toward the successful Campaign for St. Edward’s University: Opening Doors to Their World, which has already raised $100.2 million (and counting) on our way to June 30, 2017. Continued support will provide even more opportunities for our community – let’s keep up the momentum!
  • Alumni who work for the university can make their gift count twice – for participation that is. Your contribution is included in the alumni participation figures that the university submits for the very important US News and World Report rankings, and it also counts toward the participation totals for the Faculty and Staff Campaign.  This is a great two-fer and a great way to demonstrate the importance of alumni participation in annual giving

The 2017 Faculty and Staff Campaign ambassadors represent divisions campus-wide, employing the talents, skills and dedication of 38 ambassadors.
