St. Edward’s University is actively monitoring the number of positive cases and close contacts within our university community for contact tracing, quarantine and isolation.

On-campus students who test positive for Covid-19 are placed in isolation and supported by the university until they are cleared by a healthcare provider. Off-campus students and employees who receive a positive Covid-19 test will also be asked to self-isolate and will not be allowed to return to campus until they are cleared by a healthcare provider to return, which could be up to 14 days.

Additionally, any student or employee who has had close contact with a person who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 or been notified that they have been exposed to someone with Covid-19 within the past 3 days will be asked to self-isolate or quarantine for a period of up to 14 days.

Members of the university community are required to complete a daily symptom check via the TopperSafe app, which will provide additional information on Covid-19 testing, quarantine and isolation.

The Covid-19 dashboard will be updated each Friday.
