The Department of Organizational Communication and Leadership prepares students to communicate clearly and lead others toward a common strategic vision.

Students within this department take courses that prepare them to inspire, coach, and lead across all levels of an organization. Coursework will teach students to analyze scenarios and develop processes designed to help people and businesses interact successfully. 

Graduates from this department are well-suited for careers where leadership and a big-picture perspective are essential to managing change. Employment opportunities include careers in private, nonprofit and public organizations, working as project managers, executive directors for nonprofits, health services managers, business consultants and organizational development directors.
