Each semester, University President George E. Martin provides a state of the university address. All members of the campus community are invited to hear details of recent successes and receive updates on important news that impacts life and work here on the Hilltop.
President George Martin kicked off the 2016 Spring President's Meeting with awards for 57 faculty and staff who were recognized for their service to the university, ranging from 10 years to 45 years.
An update on campus enhancements provided details on the final phase of the campus master plan, which includes the addition of a new student apartment community scheduled to open in Fall 2017 and a new operations building to be constructed on the northwest corner of campus. Additionally, our beloved historic buildings, Main Building and Holy Cross Hall, will undergo important repairs.
The presentation also highlighted university recognition in February for being named the top producer of Fulbright Students among masters-granting institutions, ahead of Villanova, Santa Clara, Drake and Elon universities.
