New students are welcomed to the St. Edward’s University community during Anchors, Move-in Weekend events, and Welcome Days. Get ready to begin your college experience on the hilltop, learn about new opportunities for involvement, services and programs to find your place and meet new people, make new friends, and — perhaps most importantly — have a good time!
Anchors is a mandatory, new student-focused extended orientation comprised of mandatory programs and optional Welcome Days events. Families are invited to join Welcome Days events Aug. 24–25 and are asked to leave by 1 p.m. on Aug. 25.
For specific information about moving in to residence halls, please visit Residence Life.

There will be Open Walk-in Advising hours to support advising and schedule changes on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 10 a.m.– 2 p.m. on the ground floor of Moody Hall. Representatives from all schools will be available.
