Built in 2003, this hall was named after Blessed Basil Moreau, founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross, who was beatified in 2007 in Le Mans, France. The Auxiliary Priests of Le Mans and the Brothers of Saint Joseph united to form the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1840, under the direction of Fr. Moreau as their superior.
Hello Kangaroos. Welcome to your home in the The Complex. My name is Marnika Brown and I am an Assistant Director in the Residence Life Office. I lead BMH, Casa and Dujarié Halls. I am so excited for all that is in store for us the year. I am originally from the Midwest and grew up in Detroit, MI. When I’m not in the office you can find me watching movies, traveling, reading a great book, listening to music and hanging out with my husband Earl. You may see him around from time to time he likes to take care of the pool table for us, so say hi!! My office is located directly behind the Dujarié Hall front desk which is adjacent to the lobby and lounge. If there's ever anything I can do, or a question I might be able to answer, please don't hesitate to stop by.
Hello Kangaroos! My name is Kaitlin Burke and I’m the Assistant Residence Director for the Complex. This is my first year serving as an Assistant Residence Director and my fourth year working with St. Edward’s University Residence Life. My office is located behind the front desk of Basil Moreau Hall, home to the Wicked Problems LLC. I am so excited to make my first year as an ARD amazing with all of the Complex Kangaroos!
I am originally from Houston, TX but my family is from Louisiana. I am actually an alumni of St. Edward’s and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Currently I’m pursuing my Master’s Degree in Counseling here on the Hilltop. When I’m not in the office I enjoy Disney movies, video games, the color pink, cozy sweaters, petting dogs, and eating as much queso as I possibly can. If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to reach out, I’d love to help! I’m looking forward to making this year the best experience possible, so I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you. Go Kangaroos! HOP HOP!
Hello fellow Kangaroos! Welcome to The Complex, I'm Elizabeth Ucles and I'm a sophomore English Writing/Rhetoric major here on the hilltop. I'm over the moon about sharing my first year as an RA with all of you. I was born in El Paso, but I've grown up in Houston my whole life (H-Town hold it down). I love writing for various platforms here on campus, and I'm super eager to explore this amazing every day. I'm almost always up to walk down SoCo, enjoy the views at Mount Bonnell and the Pennybacker Bridge, drink some coffee at Mozarts, go to GroupX classes, binge watch The Office and get some authentic tacos at El Taccorido. Never hesitate to knock on my door for absolutely anything. It's gonna be a great year. Go Kangaroos! #hophop
Hey ya'll, I'm an RA for BMH and a junior Political Science major. When I'm not slaying noobs on Xbox or binge watching anime, I'm probably out enjoying the delicious food or jamming out at one of the many concerts that this city has to offer. I have a mild addiction to coffee and heavy addiction to Star Wars. Automatic doors may or may not make me feel like a Jedi.

Hello, residents! I am so excited to meet every single one of you. My name is Cielo Anna Ontiveros. I was born in Galveston but moved to Dallas when I was four. If you ever decide to visit either city, let me know. I can point out the best tourist shops and point you in the direction of a great comedy club! I am exploring a lot of different majors right now to try and find the right fit for me. I love art so don’t be surprised if you see me working on a craft or water coloring outside. I love watching TV so if you want to stop and chat about your favorite show that would be awesome! I am currently up to date on Game of Thrones, Walking Dead and Peaky Blinders. I want you to know that if you need anything that all you need to do is ask. I will not hesitate to help in any way possible.
Hey y'all! My name is Sarah Beth, but you all can call me SB, and I'm a sophomore here on the hilltop. I'm majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience and I dream of going to Ut Austin Law School in order to become a lawyer, specifically to work either in a hospital or with deaf individuals. Also currently learning American Sign Language (if you couldn't guess) and I would love to be fluent. Just some fun facts: I love everything Harry Potter and Disney, my favorite animal is an elephant or a whale and I am obsessed with cups and mugs (I have like 20). I'm very much an extrovert so feel free to come and talk to me or hang out with me. I'm very excited to be here and I hope we can make this an awesome year for everyone here on the Hilltop!
