Getting to Campus

To help you plan your travel to and from campus, we've provided the following tips.

Parking on Campus

If you are planning on driving your personal vehicle to campus, you must purchase a parking permit. For information regarding how to puchase a permit, visit St. Edward's University Parking. If you get a parking ticket, visit St. Edward's University Parking to find information on how to appeal or pay the ticket. View the campus parking map

CapMetro Bus

Bus passes for CapMetro are sold at a discounted rate (35% off of standard pass prices) to St. Edward's University students, faculty and staff. The passes are $27.00 for a Local 31-day pass and $40 for the Premium 31-day pass. If you are not sure which pass would work best for you, visit CapMetro Trip Planner to plan your route to campus.

You may purchase the passes in the Office Student Life, located on the third floor of Ragsdale Center from 8 a.m.–5:30 p.m. on days that the university is open. Please pay by cash, check or Topper Tender. We do not accept credit cards at this time.

Car2Go

Another option for getting to campus is to use Car2Go, a rental car-sharing service. There are two Car2Go spots on campus in the visitor lot. Car2Go vehicles cost 41 cents per minute and rates improve if borrowed for over an hour. Car2Go will wave the initial sign up fee for St. Edward's University students if they register online, along with 30 minutes of free drive time. Member cards take 5–7 days to process, so be sure to apply in advance.
