The Texas STEM TEACHER circle is a collection of STEM teachers and professionals interested in working together around issues of STEM content. We are made of University Faculty, Pre-service and early career science and math teachers, STEM teacher mentors, school administrators, STEM industry and business representatives and other local stakeholders.

What we do

We hold monthly STEM TEACHER CIRCLE meetings at St. Edward's University and explore some aspect of STEM education. Our sessions focus on STEM content and innovative teaching strategies that promote authentic learning in the classroom.

SEU Teacher Education Induction Program

This page will be used to share information about the SEU Teacher Education Induction Program called the Texas Teacher Circles. SEU currently has three content-specific groups that meet monthly over the school year for Professional Development - the STEM Teacher Circle, The Literacy Teacher Circle, and the EC-6 Teacher Circle. Additional circles (Bilingual, Physical Education) are planned for the 2016-2017 school year.
