In response to COVID-19, we have decided to cancel on-campus Pre-Health Events and Programming for the remainder of the spring semester. Please note that events may be offered virtually instead.

Whether you are a first-year, transfer, or post-baccalaureate, we offer upwards of 25 unique programs and events per year, designed to enrich your understanding of your respective health professions interest in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, nursing, physical therapy, and more.

Attendance at a diverse range of programming and events is strongly encouraged to become an active member of the Pre-Health community at St. Edward's University. If you are interested in receiving an evaluation from the Health Professions Advisory Committee (HPAC), event attendance is required during your tenure as a pre-health student.

While several events are open to the entire pre-health community, some events will have certain requirements for attendance based on information from health professions schools/programs, space restrictions, or other criteria. All students on the pre-health listserv will receive event updates and criteria on a regular basis. If you would like to be added or removed from the listserv, please contact jasond [at]

If you have any questions about any of our events, please contact Jason De La Rosa at jasond [at] or call 512-416-5858
